This is a picture of Copper greeting a friend of ours with his signature hello licks. I just love this picture of him.

Jan-2003

This is PHP Shadow Dancer (AMHA Reg. name). He's an almost 5 year old 32 inch tall Stallion and is just a sweetheart of a gem and is our newest family member. He was just delivered to our home on Saturday Feb. 8th, 2003. He's in his very fluffy winter coat here...can't wait to see how sleek he looks in Summer.
This is a picture of a colt by Shadow Dancer. He is just such a cutie I had to  add this picture. He was at the farm when we went to look at Shadow Dancer.

[BensBud adds: "Does it look like he could be related to Copper?" :)]

Me tacking up Copper for a lesson at Pond Hill Ranch where I bought him. This was actually the first time I rode him as his new owner.

I love this picture. Me unsaddling Pilot after our first good ride...seven miles.
Me and Copper and Ashley and Pilot going out for a trail ride.
Good "ending to a day" the big guys out in their pasture.
Copper looking cute taking a nap at home.
Pilot letting us know how he feels about being in a stall for a 3 day clinic.
The new guy is the big bay. When we bought him he had no name so we had to think of a name for him. What an ordeal...LOL. We finally came up with the name He Zar Tractor. He is a gelding, either 8 or 9 years old, 16 Hands, and is a working ranch horse from Oklahoma. He is very polite and gentlemanly with humans.
Pilot (our black QH/TennWalker 17 yr old) was the lead horse, however, Tractor has seemed to have taken over that spot. I had them (Copper and Pilot) separated from Tractor and was worried about introducing them to each other for fear of my other two beating up the new one. They solved my problem of figuring that out 3 days after we brought Tractor home. We woke up Saturday morning to find them all in Tractor's paddock. They had broken one section of the fencing to get together. No one had any marks and Tractor was the lead horse. Tractor is a good, well ridden/worked horse who looks like he will be perfect for both my husband to use trail riding and for me to use in rodeo events.  Happy ending to my search for a new horse.

Hawkeye (the tan one in front) with all who loved him.

Pilot and Copper in the back and Kitty with the dogs in front.

In memory of Hawkeye who died on Oct. 3, 2001.
