Chivalry's Sir Orrick - one week old. He
is a full blood, registered Clydesdale.

Sir Orrick at 4 1/2 months. Just two
days after this picture was taken, he came home with us.

Seven months old and growing strong.
Just shy of 15 hands (a hair over 14.3) and weighing in at around 684 lbs.

winter coat. This picture was taken just three days before we got 2
feet of snow on X-mas day 2002.

old - a hair over 15 hands and around 900 pounds and still growing!,
Pilot: 20 some-odd year old pure black QH/Tenn Walker mix... Orrick's
buddy and mentor. He puts up with Orrick's antics very well...
almost like he knows he's just a baby, even if he's already as tall as
him.

I just love it when horses focus all their attention on something. You can never get them to stand as tall and proud looking like that when you really want them at a show!

"Okay mom...I'm bored with the photo session ...can we play with my Birthday present now?" Warning to all future Clydesdale owners: They go through an eggbutt ball every 2 months...I don't think anyone's designed a toy for a Clydesdale yet that they can't bust, break or smash!

Chivalry's Sir Orrick pictured at 15 months.
(Aug, 2003)
...if I remember right.......he was 16
hands, around 1300 lbs (maybe a little more) and his girth was around 78
inches. He's on free choice hay (he eats about 3/4 of a bale a day)~ 24/7
turnout..... I've never kept him in a stall although he has one to go into
whenever he wants.....his choice. I give him 2 lbs of Omegatin / 2
1/2 lbs of high fat ~ very low sugar feed mix I mix up plus soy oil
and selenium and vitamin E supplements. He's such a good boy. Very willing
and is gaining confidence everyday. He goes completely on voice commands
at liberty and does exactly what I say when I tell him to do something.
.... I'd like to take him to the draft show at the Big E. He'll be 19
months old on Dec 4th. Can't wait for the shows to get some show pictures
up.

X-mas day 2003.
He'll be 20 months old on Jan 4th 2004.
So in this picture he's a little over a week shy of being 20
months.

On a miniature horse thread, some of us were
talking about having photos of minis and drafts together. Well, my
boys must have subconsciously heard this conversation because my mini
escaped his paddock and went to visit my big boy Sir Orrick. I came
out and they were just hanging out together having fun.....so I took some
pictures of them. LOL. Too bad my Sir Orrick is only 21 months old
and not full grown......the size difference in the photos would have been
so much more amusing. But as it is......Orrick is 16.3 hands high
and the mini.....Shadow (aka Chaucer) is 32 inches tall.

Sir Orrick is 2 years old now! Just sending
some pics of him on his birthday. May 4th . These pictures were taken at
the trainers. He's in training now and doing incredibly well.

He's a little over 17 hands in these photos.

Sir Orrick is currently 17.2 hands, just turned 2 years old in May 2004....is currently on the Show Circuit and has already received a 1st / Grand Champion Stallion and a 2nd at two of the shows he's been shown at in PA. He's Headed for the Keystone International Livestock Exposition end of Sept. Susan Karges of Chivalry Farm is showing him for me.
He is also now a Registered Premium Foundation Drum Horse with the Gypsy Cob & Drum Horse Association. He's pictured here with one of his Trainer's ...Maya Morelli.
