Belle, a few months later and looking much more like a horse!
Mighty during the blizzard.
Morgan doing his best to rescue the hay from blowing away in the 45mph gusts!

Our new OTTB mare from Penn National. I call this photo, 'Lady and the Tramp'
Belle's first day. Very underweight, but we're working on that. Sweetest temperament for miles around.
My six-year Haflinger gelding named Morgan. (Imported from Ohio, no less!)
Think Spring! (2004)
Morgan and Me, November 29th, 2003.
Cold and windy day!
After a swim in the pond-We aren't always this muddy!
Wild man...
Here I am! Got any carrots?
I love that Haflinger eye

This is me and the beastie at our first PNH clinic. My rope is dirty because it was repeatedly dragged through the sand and stomped on....don't ask...
PNH clinic. We are trying to achieve something here, but I'm not quite sure what it is....neither is the pony.
This is me riding Whoa's Tahiti, a.k.a. Gazelle....doesn't she look like the world's greatest babysitter? I don't believe she has ever 'freaked out'. I suspect that Whoa makes it all up....<grin>. She's so graceful and beautiful.

This is my mom-in-law, Irene, and her sweet ex-barrel racer, Folly. They are 73 and 23 years old respectively...guess which one is which!
Parelli Playday at my barn. Whoa (BB) is on the other end of that rope! Good thing she likes me....
When Haffie's crack a joke...

This is my husband's new horse, a Haflinger....his first horse! come to think of it. His name is Mighty Maul. This is his first full day home, bareback in a sidepull bridle for the first time. What a sport!
Notice that Mighty has big hair...
Husband said, "what am I going to do with a horse?"....I replied, "put him in a pasture, idolize him and spend an enormous amount of money on him just like the rest of us!"

Mighty loves to chase the horses with the orange cones...scares the bejeezus out of them.
This is our Basset Hound, Jake. This is what Jake does when you call him. Turns the opposite way, sits down, and pretends he can't hear you. In this photo, he is looking for a family that will feed him nothing but steak and chocolate milk shakes. He'll find them some day....
This is what it's like to ride a Haflinger in a big field.....fun, huh?
