Blizzard '05.
This shows how deep the snow was.
Chloe is peeking out to see what happened overnight.
Let's see what's at the bottom of this white stuff.
Okay, enough, I'm going back to my stall.
Here is Zephyr the TB going only as far as I had shoveled.
Coming back to the barn, he decided this fluffy stuff was just right for a roll.
My son who is 11 is holding Arrow and Storm.
Storm & Arrow, aren't quite sure what to do with this stuff. After all they come from SW Kentucky. Both were making beelines back to the barn.
This shot shows their butts in side the center aisle of the barn. Since we don't have doors on the barn, we made a wall of hay to keep the wind out. But you can still see how much snow ended up inside the barn.

Here are some pictures of two new babies I just got today (May 6, 2004).
The paint is Texas Arrow, a 8 month old Anglo/Arab X spotted draft colt.
Faith is 8 month old Anglo/Arab X Belgian filly.
They came up from KY and have settled in very nicely
Such well behaved babies.

April, 2004 - I just came back from a schooling show, bringing Chloe to her first ever show.
"Who said this was my first show?"
I never expected the blue, she still has fuzzies from winter. She acted like she had always been showing.
Chloe's proud Mom.

The small pony's name is Quarter. He's TWH/welsh/poa from Alberta Canada. Only 4, but as you can see quite a ham. He came into my kitchen quite willingly one day, I like to call it "look who's coming to dinner." And then the quick getaway out the back door before hubby came in the front door. :)

The large black is Chloe, a clyse/qh X that I have in for training. My daughter is giving her a kiss while she was napping. Quarter and Chloe resting together. BTW, Quarter is 12 H and 500 lbs, Chloe is 16H and 1300 lbs.

The chestnut is my 14 yr old TB, Zephyr. The show pictures are at a schooling show.

The bay is my 10 yr QH, Desire. He's the playful one in the family. My 13 yr old daughter uses him for Pony Club. The blue ribbon was one of many at a local schooling show.

Justthemom's daughter on "Desire" in the Walk/Trot Equitation class.  We love the color of that ribbon!

[BensBud says: "Yes I know it's not about the ribbons, but if you're going to win one, it might as well be a nice color!"  ;)]
