| Cashel, is a 22 year old Standardbred mare that I have owned for almost 16 years. She put up with me since I was 13. She allowed me to drag her to 4-H shows and on numerous trail rides. She taught me a lot. She is retired now due to allergies and a leg injury. She has been the best and I miss her terribly as my riding companion. Now she has taken on the job of babysitter for my new filly. |

Kit
is my coming 5 year old Missouri Fox Trotter mare. I bought her as a
2 year old and with some help from dear friends we broke and trained her.
She was very stubborn at first and I was very worried that I had made a
mistake due to my lack of experience. Now she has turned into the
BEST horse. She is better than I ever dreamed. (Not as good as
my dear Cashel) I feel that I have truly accomplished something with
her and I am VERY proud of her. She is a great trail horse, which is
my focus in riding. She has wonderfully smooth gaits.
These two pictures of Kit were taken at the barn where we used to board. I wish it were my farm. I love the grass and it was so great to be able to turn them out to graze. Unfortunately our new house doesn't have the pasture turn out :( Someday when I win the lottery my horses will have a field so big they won't know what to do with themselves :) That is me in the picture with Kit. |

| Cricket is the newest addition to the family. She to is a Missouri Fox Trotter. She is 15 months old and was my Christmas present from my Fiancé David. I have loved this filly since a couple of weeks since she was born. I wanted to try training another and Kit turned out so great, we figured we'd give it another shot. This girl looks like she is going to be tall, which I need, because I'm 5'10" and have long legs that really hang off the horse:) She will be used for trail riding as well. She is a handful being a baby and all and gets into everything, but we love having her around. |

| Here is a picture of Kit and David, my fiancé. He's a city kid who had never been around horses before he met me. Although he doesn't ride-yet:) he has fallen in love with the horses and helps out wherever he can. He enjoys just being with them and has told me many times how peaceful he finds the time spent with them. I should also mention that he was a great help in training Kit and I can't wait for his help with Cricket. | ![]() |
