This is the visit to Upton nursing center,
where my husband's Aunt Ruth is a resident. She wasn't there that day, as
she had broken her hip a couple days prior (she is doing very well
now). The residents had a blast, and Bucky was wonderful. He
is a yearling mini colt. After our hour visit, Wes (my son) said,
"Mom, sometimes it's hard to know what to say to older people,
but it wasn't hard today, because they asked a lot of questions about the
horse and the dog, I really had fun." |

Annie (in blue) thought that Rita was hitting
Bucky. So she was saying "don't you hit that little
horse!" Rita was just gently patting him. She said,
"oh, I would never hurt this little guy." |

This is the lady that didn't join in all the
other activities, but when she heard there was going to be a horse, she
came out. |
