Here she is!
BonBon was a New Forest Pony, imported in the 1960's by a breeder in Rehoboth, MA. Over the years, she gave birth to 18 foals; she can be found in the pedigrees of lots of New Forest Ponies in this country. Her registered name is "Santander BonBon". She was given to me by an acquaintance about 6 years ago, and spent many hours with me in the ring here at Grazing Fields. I'm pretty sure she could have taught most of those lessons herself! She died on December 1st, 2003, at the age of 43. Just two days before her death, she was trotting around the ring with her ears up, happily baby sitting young riders. We sure miss her! My son, her "real" owners and I will be planting a garden on her grave in the spring. |

| Here she is at the tender age of 37 with my son (5 at the time), preparing for his lead-line performance at the Barnstable County Fair. What a versatile pony! |

| Pokey, a trail horse I bought last summer- she's also been great in the school, but it's been nice to do some organized trail rides. Maybe we'll see you on a hunter pace someday! |
